The Lider Invest Award was presented as part of the Lider Investment Conference, which took place on Friday in Zagreb

The DUNI non-ferrous metal foundry was awarded a special award for encouraging regional development. The award was presented by Miodrag Šajatović , editor-in-chief of Lider, and received by Dragutin Ulama , director and owner of the company. The purchase of the CNC lathe was planned and carried out strictly for the purpose, for the final machining of castings that we produce in our foundry, said Ulama.
– The machine itself was therefore slightly modified for such needs, and tools and digital measuring devices of the latest generation were purchased with it, and extensive training was also provided for the workers who will work on the machine. The main reasons for purchasing the machine are primarily to ensure quality and regularity of delivery for our customers, primarily for the well-known global company Danfoss, a leader in valve production, for which we have been producing very demanding valve parts for many years. Also very important reasons are increasing productivity and digitalizing the machining facility. The investment of 90 thousand euros, for which a loan from HAMAG-BICRO with subsidized interest was obtained, has already shown its full justification in the first few weeks after commissioning – said Ulama.
